Does the other person know they're being recorded?
Always. Before anything plays, the viewer sees a full-screen notice that their camera will record their reaction, and nothing starts until they tap "Enable camera & react" and grant camera permission themselves. There is no silent recording.
Who can see my reaction?
Only the person who sent you the challenge. Reactions are never public, never searchable, and never shown to other users. The author can export the composite video — just like they could screen-record any video call — so only react to people you trust.
Do my friends need the app to see my challenge?
Yes — reacting requires the app, because the reaction is recorded with the camera in sync with the reveal. Your link opens a preview in the browser and takes them to the App Store or Google Play; after install the link carries them straight to your challenge.
How do I delete a challenge?
Home → My challenges → the challenge → Delete. Deleting a challenge frees a slot and permanently removes all reactions received to it — for both sides.
Can I retake my reaction?
Once, unless the challenge was sent in Authentic mode — then the first take is final and you'll see a note about it before recording. Cancelling instead of submitting closes the challenge for you permanently.
Where is my data stored?
All content and account data are stored on servers in the European Union. Details are in our Privacy Policy, and you can delete everything at any time via the data deletion page.
How do I cancel my PRO subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google: iOS — Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android — Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
